About Traverse Bay Children's Advocacy Center
Traverse Bay Children's Advocacy Center (TBCAC) is the regional response center for allegations of child abuse and violence for a six-county region in Northwest Michigan, including the Grand Traverse Band of Ottawa and Chippewa Indians. Founded in 2010, TBCAC is one of the largest child advocacy centers in Michigan and has performed over 4,200 child forensic interviews. TBCAC offers intervention, prevention, and therapy services free of charge to children who have experienced abuse and to their non-offending family members. Their vision is a world without abuse, in which all children are safe and thriving. Accredited member of the National Children's Alliance since 2016.
