Strategic, Non-Operated Ownership in Midstream Infrastructure Traverse Midstream Partners LLC was formed in June 2014 by The Energy & Minerals Group (EMG) to build a portfolio of non-operated midstream assets. Through key relationships with EMG’s upstream subsidiaries, Traverse quickly closed two highly accretive deals: Rover Pipeline and Ohio River System. Given its non-operated structure, Traverse is intently focused on partnering with best in class operators. Energy Transfer Partners, Traverse’s joint venture partner on Rover Pipeline and Ohio River System, fits squarely into that profile. Traverse Midstream has funded its initial $500 million equity commitment from EMG and total financing of nearly $1 billion has been secured to fully fund remaining capital expenditures on its two initial investments. Access to further equity funding is underway to pursue additional growth projects and acquisitions. Traverse’s management team has experience in virtually every domestic production basin and midstream asset type. We also have strong backgrounds in M&A, joint ventures, commercial and financial structuring. Going forward, Traverse aims to partner with producers and midstream companies looking for strategic capital. But we are more than a partner.
