About Traycee Home Care
Traycee has person-centered approach to all senior home care situations, which focuses on engaging clients and encouraging and exposing them to life enrichment activities. Traycee Home Care's caregivers are trained in the IDPH best practices for COVID prevention. Domestic services and nannies must have a COVID test that is negative prior to employment. If you or your family member is recovering from COVID and needs assistance during healing, please contact us. COVID-19 is very isolating for seniors and their families. Our caregivers become the client's companion by daily interactions, helping with activities, listening and reminiscing. Our caregivers are Traycee employees, many with us for over a decade and have additional Dementia and Alzheimer's training to help our clients stay safely in their homes. Specific services whether hourly, weekend or live-in include the following. Medication Reminders: caregivers remind client taking medications on a prescribed schedule. Assistance with Exercises/Physical Therapy/Durable Medical Equiptment: caregivers assist with exercises and/or physical therapy as directed by a physician or physical therapist. Nutritious Meal Preparation: caregivers work closely with clients and families to carefully plan all meals, honoring client preferences. Assistance with ADLs-Activities of Daily Living: Eating, Personal Hygiene, Bathing, toileting and dressing- caregivers are respectful, professional and sensitieve to a client's need for privacy as they assist in the se basic activities of daily living. Household Services: Light Housekeeping and Laundry: caregiver maintains kitchen, bathroom, bedroom with light housekeeping. Clients are encouraged to participate in towel folding, etc. as therapeutic movement & exercise.
