About Treasure House (London)

Treasure House (THLCIC) was formed in response to a gap in provision for young people for whom mainstream education is not an option, due to their inability to manage in the highly structured and busy environment of a large school. Treasure House (London) CIC is an education provision which has worked successfully, since March 2009 with a number of students who have fallen behind in their education. We are currently based in Walworth, within the Local Authority Area of Southwark. Our current premises have the capacity to cater for 15 full-time students. We are a Community Interest Company, which means that all profit that we create is ploughed back into the organisation in order to develop and improve our services. We are also bound by an asset lock which ensures any asset we hold will remain for the benefit of disadvantaged young people.
