Treasure Time help working parents give their best to their work and their families by helping parents to strengthen their relationships at home through child led play. There is so much pressure to be all things to all people in this day and age. With hundreds of pressing priorities it can be easy to busy ourselves to the point that we overlook the one thing that we can't ever get back - time with our families. Treasure Time are providers of an evidence based online programme for parents, created by Play Therapists. Treasure Time guides parents to strengthen their relationships with their children through a weekly play time. Weekly Treasure Time sessions between parent and child have been shown to reduce parental stress by more than 10%, increase children's emotional wellbeing by 14% and increase in empathy and understanding by 8%. At Treasure Time, we recognise that the most important relationship that we have as human beings are the first relationships we have with our parents or caregivers. These relationships will largely determine the blueprint that we use for all future relationships and our life outcomes. Children who experience a 'secure attachment' with their parents/caregivers are shown to have the most positive outcomes across their life span academically, emotionally and economically.
