About Treat Me Sweet

My name is Darla Smoak and I'm the creative force behind Treat Me Sweet. I enjoy baking but my true passion lies in creating, designing and making things beautiful. I love how artistic you can be with a macaron – they're like a blank canvas – for you to create any color or flavor combination that you can dream up. I remember the first time I tried a macaron. I was on a business trip in Savannah, Georgia and stopped for lunch at charming little French bistro. No meal is complete without a taste of sweet so I finished lunch and had my first encounter with a French Macaron…..it was love at first bite! Since then the macaron has topped my dessert list as a favorite. It only made sense to pair my passion with my favorite dessert and so, Treat Me Sweet was born.
