We are a new venture borne out of many years of experience working in the care within the community and the supported and sheltered housing sector. We see daily, the desperate need to provide a joined-up approach to the way we take care of the ever-growing number of vulnerable older adults in our society. Treehouse will provide respite care after leaving hospital; it will be the place to recover the client’s independence before they go home. We will assess their strengths and identify any vulnerabilities before they leave Treehouse, we will help individuals to continue their independent living and if required, will provide ongoing support from the team they have already got to know and trust. The second part of our plan is to provide a safe, comfortable living environment for people to enjoy their later years and to live the fully active and independent lifestyle they have worked towards through their working lives. We are building 100 apartments, 60 single and 40 two bed; we will also create 80 two bed houses, purpose-built for couples where one requires special long-term care and the other need not make the heartbreaking decision of putting their partner into a home and the break up of a lifelong partnership. We have completed a detailed market study for over two years and thoroughly researched this industry and through improved planning and inclusion of technology, we can deliver this at an affordable price.
