About Trees & Code

There's one person in the business, but we refer to ourselves in the plural sense - becasue reasons. Trees & Code operates over two domains. 1: Trees - low impact, small scale, woodland management work, typically in native broadleaf woodland and always in private woodlands. We encourage woodland owners to establish formal management plans and manage their woodland ecosystem to align with local ecological contexts and where applicable - site-specific historical management practices. We encourage use of technology based tools to assist in that journey. 2: Code - from requirements discovery, technical business analysis, change management, information security, data protection and obviously - writing code. We design and develop software using Python & Elixir. Occasionally, JavaScript / TypeScript.
