About Tri-County Ground Search and Rescue Group, (TCGSAR)

Tri-County Ground Search and Rescue provides search and rescue services to the RCMP and National Parks in South East New Brunswick (Kent, Westmoreland, Albert counties). Tri-County also responds to mutual aid requests from GSAR groups in other parts of New Brunswick and, upon request, from other provinces/states. Our primary mandate is to locate, access, stabilize, and transport lost, missing, or injured persons. Tri-County provides evidence search as well as disaster response services to police and the provincial Emergency Measures Organisation (EMO) upon request. Tri-County is also involved in Preventative Search and Rescue (PSAR), regularly delivering national AdventureSmart programs to school age children as well as adults.
