About Tri Sisters Art House
The TriSisters Art House is a creative industries complex that houses a critical mass of artistic enterprises to form a community by providing an affordable and supportive environment in which the creative industry can thrive in Waterloo Region. The Centre will be open to visitors and the general public. It will provide them the opportunity to watch an artisan at work, participate in workshops and purchase unique and local artisanal items. Having the Centre in the heart of St. Jacobs is an ideal location, as it is a well-established tourism destination and will appeal to all the visitors who come to the area, including the variety of tourists, local residents and day trippers. Vision To create a supportive environment in which artisans and the creative industry can thrive in the Region of Waterloo. Mission The Three Sisters Cultural Centre is an innovative complex that is committed to collaborative development initiatives that support local artists and the creative industry through: · Providing an affordable place for artisans and the creative industry to show, sell and network. · Economic development opportunities for artists to create and sell their products. · Building recognition of the creative industries in the Region of Waterloo. · Visitor engagement in workshops, exhibitions and events.
