About Tri-Valley Youth Music Ensemble
Our club is one of three music clubs in Dougherty Valley, and is the only one to specialize in wind band as well as orchestral music. We provide students of Dougherty Valley a space to play their instruments for fun, without the pressure of performing well with a band or practicing a part rigorously, as is expected in many other bands. Through this low stress environment, we are able to provide many musicians with a different view of music. We are able to show students the aspect of community involved in music. Members are able to create meaningful relationships through our rehearsals. We help facilitate these relationships through games and fun bonding exercises.
