Triangle Central Kitchen is building a bold new model for food justice in the Triangle. We rescue surplus food, train future chefs, and distribute healthy, chef-crafted meals through powerful community partnerships. Our work is rooted in a simple but urgent question: "What if we stopped wasting what we already have?" Every day, perfectly good food goes to waste while talent goes untapped and communities go underfed. We believe there's a better way—and we're here to build it. This vision has been in motion for over five years. Michael Woods, a dedicated leader in food justice, has traveled, studied, and forged relationships across the country to bring this model to life. His persistence helped lay the foundation for what’s to come. Today, we stand on the cusp of real impact. We’ll launch our first educational summits and community activations in Fall 2025. And in Summer 2026, we’ll welcome our first cohort of culinary trainees. We aren’t just building a kitchen—we’re fueling a movement. One meal. One career. One community at a time.
