About Tribal-Teams
Tribal Teams represents a new approach to developing team performance, combining team-coaching principles and agile working, alongside key insights from tribal wisdom. Tribes are a unique group of people who don't need to be told what they stand for, and where the collective capability far exceeds the sum of their parts. They live by their values no matter the situation, and will always put others before themselves in support of community and cooperation; not ego or judgment. This means working together despite differences in order to achieve something greater than any individual member could do on his/her own. This is why we call them “tribes.” Tribal-Teams is focused on blending the accelerated learning principles of team-coaching and leadership with insights from ancient tribal practices and values. Such an approach enables people within teams to cohere around a strong sense of collective culture and principles. By adopting the Tribal-Teams approach, success is founded in the facilitated process of co-creation that we do with our clients. It is within this process that we uncover and unblock many of the challenges, whilst skilling up and capacity building your people to carry forward new practices and ways of working that will profoundly impact performance, success, and true stakeholder value. Working within 3-month cycles of co-creation and development, we will work with you and your teams to establish the current systemic context and challenges of your environment and people. This enables us to co-create with your team a meaningful structure and plan for the team’s active growth, learning, and development. Using team-coaching principles, we work with the team such that they will be able to continue coaching themselves, long after we have quietly exited out the back door.
