About Tribe Irish Gin

Tribe Irish Gin was founded in March 2021. The four founders (Adam, Cormac, Ciarán & Michael) all come from different backgrounds and have worked all over the world from San Francisco, California to Sydney, Australia. We are all proud Tribesmen and the intention was always for us to return to Galway some day to set up our own business. This plan was expedited with the Covid-19 Pandemic causing people to return home in their droves. I don’t think anyone was unaffected by this pandemic and it really made us evaluate things and how we could turn such a negative situation into something positive. It was during the months of lockdown that the four of us came together and developed the idea to launch a gin brand in Galway as well as the city's first Gin school. We wanted our Gin Brand to showcase some of the local ingredients of the West of Ireland as well as our Gin School highlighting the fun, exciting and creative aspect of the city of the Tribes! We felt that Galway needed something new and we wanted to deliver this unique Tribe gin school experience to the city! Our school is all about bringing people together, get the creative juices flowing by creating & distilling your very own bottle of gin! You don’t need to be a chemist or have distilled anything before, we will help you every step of the way and we will have a great time while doing it!
