About Trinity Christian School of Fairfax
Trinity Christian School of Fairfax is a coeducational, independent day school for Grades K through 12 in Northern Virginia. Since 1987, we have existed to educate students to the glory of God by pursuing excellence for mind and heart. At Trinity, our task is to think God’s thoughts after him and to view all facts as God-made and, therefore, revelatory of the mind of God. Education is an act of worship. No idea, concept, or subject matter can be fully grasped unless it is related to the God who created it (Colossians 1:16-17). Our goal is to convey a worldview to our students that includes a biblical understanding of God, themselves, their neighbors, and the world that God has made. Such a worldview is both cohesive and integrated because it relates all knowledge to God and accepts the reality of transcendent truth fully revealed in the person and work of Jesus Christ. Critical reasoning and effective communication (1 Peter 3:15) are essential to our students’ calling as stewards of God’s gifts and as ambassadors to the world. As salt and light (Matthew 5:13-16), their purpose is to engage the present culture by bringing understanding, preservation, and healing to the world. This biblical worldview, the lives and devotion of our staff, the pursuit of excellence across our educational programs, and the commitment of our students all serve to create a unique environment for teaching and learning.
