About Trinity Empowerment Consortium
Trinity Empowerment Consortium (TEC) is a HUD approved housing counseling agency with a main focus on the education of first-time home buyers through classes and personal counseling. We believe that the strength of our community is in the knowledge they possess, and through direct programs and initiatives we can empower all to realize their full home-buying potential. Our organization also provides services in home buyer retention, foreclosure prevention, credit counseling and financial literacy, and reverse mortgages. We have partnerships with Miami-Dade Public Housing & Community Development, Miami-Dade Economic Advocacy Trust, Florida Alliance of CDC, SFCDC, and multiple financial institutions within the community. Our counselors carry national certification licenses through HomeFree, NeighborWorks, National Community Reinvestment Coalition, and the National Council of La Raza. Our services are offered in English and Spanish, and classes are offered online as well.
