About Triple Eight Race Engineering
Founded in 2003 by astute businessman and self-confessed motorsport aficionado, Roland Dane, Triple Eight Race Engineering is an engineering business with a motor racing pedigree. Triple Eight provides engineering excellence with in-house design and manufacturing to service an extensive network of loyal customer teams across the Australian Supercars category. Over the years, Dane built the foundations of a successful engineering business and Triple Eight Race Engineering has earned the reputation of being a leader within the Australian Supercars category. Racing as Red Bull Ampol Racing in the Supercars Championship, Triple Eight is the only Brisbane-based Supercars team. Its first Bathurst win came in 2006, and has since amassed 10 Bathurst 1000 wins, 11 Drivers' Championships and 12 Teams' Championships. The team’s 2025 line-up consists of Broc Feeney #88 and Will Brown #1, flanked by co-drivers Jamie Whincup and Scott Pye. Jamie continues to lead the team as Managing Director and Team Principal. 2025 is the 5th edition of the Triple Eight-hosted Supercheap Auto Racing Wildcard program, led by Supercars hero Craig Lowndes and 2024 Dunlop Super2 Champion Zach Bates. 2025 also signals a return to the Dunlop Super 2 category, with young talents Ben Gomersall and Jackson Walls. Summer Rintoule and Jarrod Hughes are also among the new recruits to Triple Eight, with the pair combining for a new entry into the Monochrome GT4 Australia Championship.
