Triumph Studio, a locally owned, multi-discipline fitness boutique, opened its doors at 1730 Apple Glen Blvd, Fort Wayne, Indiana. The 8,000 sq. ft. destination includes dedicated studios for indoor cycling, boxing, Bootcamp & Tone. Local residents Justin and Corina Harkelroad set out to create ‘thebest of the best’ in the boutique fitness world, and they engaged the services of Barbara Chancey Design Group, an international boutique specialty firm based in Dallas, Texas, to lead the extensive project. “The boutique fitness phenomenon is changing our view of fitness forever,” says Chancey. “Individual and inclusive, studios are lifestyle destinations for a multi-generational audience and offer a higher level of expertise and customer service. On behalf of my entire team, it’s been hugely fulfilling to bring Justin and Corina’s vision to life.” The multi-sensory studio is equipped with illumination and projection systems designed by British lighting designer Daryl Vaughan who has worked with many of the leading names in music including world tours with Genesis, Paul McCartney, Pink Floyd, Sting and the Rolling Stones. From house musicians to local tattoo artist Ricco Diamante, Indiana residents were commissioned to fuse the pulse of the studio with the soul of the culture. Generous social spaces, keyless lockers, blow dry bars, and luxurious showers loaded with top grooming essentials are just a few of the amenities Triumph offers. Rooted in function, the studio includes a sanitation room with UV light for disinfecting shoes, gloves, mats along with HVAC designed for maximum fresh air intake. Thoughtful features were included to deliver a lifetime of captivating atmospheres that continually challenge and surprise.
