TROA is a fashion house that began in the 1960’s in Seoul, South Korea. Considered one of the country’s most reputable fashion houses of its time, Troa’s principle designer Han Song embarked upon a journey to create an eco-friendly yarn fabrication whilst paying homage to his country’s past. He created a yarn derived from the paper-mulberry tree, used thousands of years ago as an ancient Korean paper-making technique. Troa’s unique vision combines a respect for tradition with a commitment towards creating fashion based on the principles of transparency and environmental sustainability.
