About Tron Dao

TRON DAO is a community-governed decentralized autonomous organization (DAO), dedicated to the further growth of the TRON public blockchain, and the TRC-20 standards for decentralized applications and smart contracts. Founded in September 2017 by H.E. Justin Sun, the TRON blockchain has experienced significant growth since its MainNet launch in May of 2018. The TRON network completed full decentralization in 2021 and is now a community-governed DAO. TRON hosts the world’s largest circulating supply of the USD Tether (USDT) stablecoin (exceeding $75 billion) and serves as the world’s foremost settlement layer for stablecoin transactions.
