We strive to provide a true one of kind art piece with every interaction.” A military musician retiring with 25 years of service as a Sergeant First Class, I have come into photography from a long road of creativity. My service and my camera has allowed me to capture moments of war time and peace in Kuwait and Iraq as well as soldiers, other musicians, family and friends. Though I have travelled the world East St Louis has remained home. My mission is to bring photography back to a community that has been overlooked for decades. June of 2017, Troy Anthony Photography will open a studio in hopes to become East St. Louis’ photographer bringing quality photography back to the city. Our second mission is to mentor the youth in the community. If we can show one child how a camera works and cultivate their creative eye so they can see greatness in themselves, we will have done our job. Troy Anthony Photography can capture a moment that can be passed down for generations. Actually, we don’t just capture the moment; we bring out the you that you forgot that you were.
