About TRUCK Contemporary Art

TRUCK Contemporary Art in Calgary is a non-profit artist-run centre dedicated to the development and public presentation of contemporary art. Established in 1983 under its legal name, The Second Story Art Society, TRUCK has facilitated over 500 exhibitions in addition to countless activities and events in support of cultural development and contemporary art appreciation. TRUCK presents free contemporary art programs from our central location in the Sunalta neighbourhood of Calgary, as well as through offsite programs in collaboration with local arts organizations and artists. Our mission is to provide opportunities to artists fostering innovative art practices, while engaging our local communities in critical dialogues through contemporary art.
