Truckers helping kids. That's the foundation of the Trucker Buddy program and in the hearts of most everyone we know in the trucking industry. Trucker Buddy is a pen-pal program where professional drivers are paired with classrooms. The driver communicates to the class through the teacher where they can learn about geography, math, as well as improve their reading and writing skills. Trucker Buddy helps kids learn. They learn their core subjects in a fun and interesting way with the help of a professional driver. Our nonprofit organization is 100% funded by donations and sponsorships from businesses and individuals like you. Support helps young students excel in school while improving the image of the trucking industry, as well as, ensures the strength of the program moving forward. Each year, with your help, we provide grant money and resources to teachers and classrooms. Money raised goes towards Trucker Buddy initiatives, school supplies, meals for students in need, classroom technology, and more. Trucker Buddy International is based out of Birmingham, Alabama.
