True Bearing was founded in 2015 to extend and commercialize certain research breakthroughs in genomic medicine as developed by the St. Laurent Institute and George Washington University. Through a focus on high accuracy and early diagnosis, the Company´s mission is to introduce a collection of RNA-based diagnostic blood tests that will drastically decrease the costs associated with the detection and treatment of multiple diseases. Our current focus is on TruNAV, an infection diagnostic - pathogen agnostic - addressing bacterial, viral, and biofilm infections. Doctors lack a tool that is greater than 50% accurate. At a 97% accuracy rate, we are now able to deliver a binary answer as to the presence of infection and, if present, its' magnitude. We are published, patented, and poised to start FDA Clearance with the UVA, Childrens', DC, and GWU to address a multibillion dollar problem. Abdominal pain, accounts for a small number of those who would benefit, with over 16 million cases annually. We also have a test, TruCAD, to detect and assist with diagnosis of coronary artery disease (CAD), a main cause of heart attacks ($500 Billion USA). Offering physicians increased diagnostic accuracy, expanded access to a currently inaccessible patient pool (50% of first heart attacks are unexpected), and significantly reduce, the expensive and invasive requirement for multiple tests to diagnose CAD. In addition to TruNAV and TruCAD, True Bearing is developing bio-marker panels that it believes will revolutionize the diagnosis of biofilm, appendicitis, pneumonia, and other diseases.
