About True North Brew
Our story starts back in 1992 when Kane Yeardley bought an old, disused warehouse and turned it into one of Sheffield's most loved venues, Forum Kitchen + Bar. From there the company has gone from strength to strength - we now own ten venues across Sheffield and Barnsley all with their own unique personalities and selling points. We also have one of the only city centre breweries and gin distilleries where we produce True North Beer and Sheffield Dry Gin. We pride ourselves on providing a safe and welcoming place to enjoy socialising, providing a quality and varied food and drink offerings. In January 2016 the company name was changed to True North Brew Co to fully reflect the diverse nature of all our venues. True North Brew Co. range of beers was first brewed and developed in 2012. The range and reputation of the beers have grown over that time and 2015 saw us build our own brewery and events space. Sheffield Dry Gin is the first gin to be distilled and bottled in Sheffield in over 100 years, using locally-sourced ingredients such as Henderson’s Relish and Sheffield Honey. The core range now includes; Sheffield Dry Gin, Moorland Berries, Raspberry & Pomegranate, Marmalade, and Barnsley Dry Gin.
