About Truly Timeless Care

Truly Timeless Care was established to provide a quality service to children and young people who have experienced trauma, instability and/or inconsistent care. Both directors (Glennis Wood and Simone Casey) are qualified Social Workers, with front line experience in social care. This has included working with children subject to child protection, children in need, children in care and children with disabilities. Both Glennis and Simone have had their own personal journey and experiences that led them to their careers in Social Work. This underpins their passion and commitment to making a difference to children and evidencing that despite your experience, the possibilities are endless. Our vision is not solely about short term intervention, it is to provide a long-term specialist provision that supports children and young people throughout childhood and beyond, if appropriate. Throughout our own journeys, we have recognised the challenges that children face. We recognise that it is a privilege for children to allow us to support them and to become aware of their difficult journey. “Relationships that have hurt, need relationships to heal’ is an ethos that underpins our focus. We recognise that children who have experienced trauma, need unconditional care and consistent, safe and trusting relationships to enable them to repair the harm they have experienced. We aim to provide a safe, nurturing home environment, and build upon the strengths of any child. We believe in every child, believe that everyone is equally valuable and that everyone has the ability to change. The aim of the service is to help children and young people to reside, grow and develop in a safe and caring environment supported by qualified, dedicated and suitably trained staff who share our vision and values. Our children and young people will receive individual care packages in line with their assessed needs, to ensure that their future potential is maximised and prepares them for adulthood.
