On December 17th, 2018, at the age of 47, before a business meeting, my cell phone rang. This call CHANGED MY LIFE! On the line was a social worker at the Ministry of Social Affairs' Child Welfare Service who invited me to open the adoption file under special circumstances. Up until then, fearing my parents would be harmed, I had strictly refused to open the adoption file. On that day, I accepted her offer. Upon opening the file, I retired from my technological venture and embarked on a two-year journey to trace my biological parents and the circumstances of my adoption. Following my big discovery and insights from my life journey, I wrote the book: "ילדותי השלישית" to share my story and experience with future generations. I felt the need to write down the main findings and stories I heard. The book was published in September 2022. The English version “The day you gave me up” is going to be published on Amazon in March 2023. Having avoided opening my adoption file for most of my life, I now dedicate my life to the adoption community in Israel. As Former CEO of The 'Mishpachta' Association – a non-profit organization, I work for the benefit of all members of the Israeli adoption community, including adoptees, adopting and biological parents. As a mentor, I accompany adult adoptees through the sensitive process of opening an adoption file and revealing their biological family.
