About tsiMORAY
www.tsimoray.org.uk tsiMORAY is a dynamic local charity set up to support and promote volunteering, community groups, and social enterprises. tsiMORAY also supports and promotes communication and collaboration between all of these organisations – often referred to as “third sector”, to differentiate them from the public and private sectors – and between them and public sector organisations, such as the Moray Council, the NHS etc. tsiMORAY works to 4 different strands; •Volunteering development •Social enterprise development •Consulting, supporting, developing and representing the Third Sector in Moray •Collaborating and working in partnership with public and private sector partners to improve the planning and delivery of public services by making them more responsive to the needs and aspirations of the local community Moray’s third sector and the wider social economy are recognised within the Moray Economic Strategy as “a resource to build capacity in service delivery and in product and service development”. Within the context of rising demand for services and diminishing availability of resources, the third sector is – and will continue to be – a crucial partner in addressing the challenges and opportunities facing our communities. tsiMORAY looks forward to supporting and promoting the sector as well as to supporting and promoting communication and collaboration within and between the sectors, for mutual benefit and for the benefit of the communities of Moray.
