Tatiana T. Melendez is a board-certified Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a native of Southern California. Ms. Melendez earned a Master of Social Work and a Master of Arts: Behavioral Science -Negotiation and Conflict Management. She is the founder and CEO of TTM Counseling and Psychotherapy Services, Inc., a group practice established with the intention to provide access to counseling and psychotherapy services to individuals, groups, children, couples, and families. Her expertise derives not only from the power of education but most importantly from her extensive years of fieldwork and as well as her personal experiences. Throughout Ms. Melendez's 18-year professional career, she has gained experience in conducting strength-based, culturally competent therapeutic services in behavioral and mental health treatment, and working with a multidisciplinary group of professionals. Her knowledge includes the understanding of biological, emotional, cognitive, and social determinates of behavior. She has applied this knowledge to provide strategies for understanding problems and identifying practical steps for implementing solutions. Ms. Melendez is adept in using a Humanistic approach, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy to facilitate awareness and emotional growth amongst diverse populations based on individual needs and personality. Ms. Melendez has a vast amount of experience in treating children, adolescents, and adults that are struggling with depression, low self-esteem, anxiety, grief, post-traumatic stress disorder, abuse & neglect, sexual molestation, and comorbid conditions. Her experience also includes helping parents and families with presenting concerns and difficulties managing life stressors.
