About TU Dublin Students' Union
The TU Dublin SU is the Students' Union represention students of TU Dublin; Ireland's first Technological University. With the establishment of the TU Dublin in 2018, it brought together the students of what was previously the Dublin Institute of Technology, Institute of Technology Blanchardstown and Institute of Technology Tallaght. The TU Dublin is the largest HEI in Ireland and TU DUblin SU is the largest Students' Union. In 2019 the three students' unions of the colleges held a referendum of their student members to form the TU Dublin Students' Union. The first Executive team for TU Dublin SU took office in July 2019. In June 2020 the students voted to rename what was DITSU CLG into TU Dublin SU CLG, a company to represent the entire TU Dublin SU. This came into effect on 1st July 2020. TU Dublin SU is proud to represent all TU Dublin students going forward, but also alumni of DITSU, ITB SU and ITT SU. TU Dublin SU are members of the Union of Students of Ireland.
