Back in 1995 Bob & Chris Vyse established The Tube Creation Company to manufacture metal furniture components primarily for the office and educational sector. On Bob & Chris’s retirement in 2014, the business was bought by Jake Bailey, who has a wealth of contract furniture knowledge. Although the core aim remains true, the emphasis has come away from chairs and is now almost exclusively on table frames and stools. The objective is to follow the founders’ values but move the business forward to keep pace with the ever changing furniture market – by investing in people, systems and new plant and machinery.
