WHY TulaRay? The name of the company is as entrepreneurial as the founder and as inspirational as the companies Mission, Vision and Values. Tulla is a small city in the State of Tamaulipas, Mexico, the birthplace of Ms. Edwards grandmother, Alma. Her name, which means " Soul", her impactful belief in higher education, perseverance for wellness initiatives, and her optimism have always been an impactful influence. As a Latina entrepreneur, she has earned hundreds of professional accolades, and inspired the name TulaRay. Ray was Ms. Edwards grandfather's name. He was an Army veteran, a police detective and eventually retired from the U.S. Marshall Service. Ms. Edwards has the highest level of respect for his service, and the service of other who serve our country. When he was alive, Ms. Edwards shared that he was her inspiration for pursuing a master's in emergency management and sparked her passion to support emergency responders.
