About Turf Irrigation Services (Scotland)
Turf Irrigation Services (Scotland) Ltd is the Scottish irrigation installer of Toro, Hunter and Rainbird irrigation products. Formed in 1994 by Quentin & Margaret Allardice, to fill the space in the Scottish market, the company has grown and diversified to cover all aspects of water management. Now having celebrated its 25th birthday, TIS has a plethora of high quality, on-time contracts under its belt: all the courses of St Andrews Links Trust, including The Old Course, Goodwood Golf Club, Archerfield Links, Glasgow Commonwealth games pitches, Manchester Commonwealth Games pitches, and countless football clubs including Celtic, Southampton and Bournemouth. In addition TIS maintains and services many golf clubs, bowling greens and sportsgrounds across Scotland and the north of England. TIS regularly work in conjunction with sports ground construction companies as part of larger projects and with many local authorities; East Ayrshire Council and South Lanarkshire Council renew their maintenance contracts with us annually. As an established company TIS gained a reputation for the high quality of the all round services it provides and continues to develop its markets, skills and resources. TIS play a full role in its professional body, The British Turf and Landscape Irrigation Association (BTLIA), achieving recognition as ‘A Contractor with Merit’ in their awards scheme. We can provide a full design package using our in house team follow that by installing with our fully trained crews and maintenance with our dedicated service engineers.
