In 1930, brothers Wallace and Frank Turner bought their first vehicle and began delivering loads from their father’s farm in Soham, Cambridgeshire. Over 80 years on and Turners has grown to be one of the largest and most successful privately owned Transport companies in the United Kingdom operating in excess of 1850 vehicles from 32 sites and employing over 3400 people. Specialists operations include: • Temperature controlled transport and warehousing. • Container logistics. • Bulk building powder products. • Food products both liquid and dry • Fuel distribution. • Fruit produce picking, packing, storage and distribution. • Frozen and chilled storage and added value services.
