Turnstone is a highly experienced and specialised private equity investor based in Norway. The founding team members of Turnstone have worked together for more than a decade on average, investing in private equity across Western Europe and beyond. Through our fund(s) we are able to execute on the following investment opportunities in Europe: Secondary investments (LP-led and GP-led): We provide liquidity to investors seeking to exit private equity fund interests across the full range of private equity strategies, including both small, mid-market and Pan-European buyout, growth and venture funds. We engage with private equity fund managers to provide liquidity through fund restructurings and Continuation Funds (multi-asset or single asset), where existing portfolio companies are sold to a new vehicle for extended ownership by the manager. Primary commitments (including seeded funds): We engage with both established and emerging managers in all major European geographies, with a preference for small-cap and lower mid-market buyout funds. We seek managers with a repeatable model for through-cycle value creation and niche expertise within their field. When considering a new manager we will have a preference for maturity, including seeded funds and any adjacent secondary or co-investment opportunities. Co-investment opportunities: We provide additional investment capacity to private equity fund managers by making direct investments into portfolio companies acquired by private equity funds.
