About Tutu Ballet Academy

Tutu Ballet Academy offers ballet classes and a wide variety of dance classes including hip hop, Jazz, tumbling, musical theatre, Irish dancing, Boys only ballet, Tutu Camps & Tutu Tea Parties. The youngest child of 3 thru 18 can earn medals & awards for taking our fun annual ballet exams through the Royal Academy of Dance. Tutu Ballet Academy believes that children have an unlimited capacity for learning if we tap into their creative learning process. Our teaching approach must be creative, inspiring and fun. When a child is inspired, success and learning is sure to follow. As teachers we are placed in a tremendous amount of responsibility to not only educate but to nurture. Equally important in the teaching process is the acknowledgement part of the childs hard work in class and at home. Our daily verbal encouragement and annual RAD Ballet Awards and ceremonies will give the child’s progress and commitment validity as well as a sense of accomplishment. The art of ballet paired with timeless classical music remains the same, what is different in Tutu Ballet Academy is the approach on how we introduce this. It should not be intimidating, instead fun, inviting and most of all child friendly. This applies mostly to children 3-9. For our older children in company classes we will also integrate some vaganova style ballet to prepare them for the rigors of a professional dance co.
