About Twin Oaks Senior Living
Welcome to Twin Oaks Senior Living. We are three senior living communities that accommodate a variety of care levels and needs. Twin Oaks was built with the belief that those who enter our doors are family. Our residents and their loved ones are our highest priority. 43 years ago, founder Mary Ann Huber, RN, saw a need for those who were aging but needed additional care. She had a vision to provide an inviting place to receive the care they need but also have the opportunity to enjoy their friends, their families, and maintain their independence. In 1981, Mary Ann brought her vision to life by turning her own home into a 12 bedroom boarding home, which would later become the home to Twin Oaks Estate in O’Fallon, Missouri. However, it wasn’t long before she would enlist her family to support and continue to build her vision and legacy of the Twin Oaks family business. In 2000, after working together for 19 years, family members (Tim and Kathy Blattel, Kim Bauer, and Leon and Louise Blattel) joined in a partnership to expand on Mary Ann’s vision. In 2010, Heritage Pointe in Wentzville, Missouri opened and offers both Assisted Living and Independent Living. In May of 2023, Twin Oaks launched The Villas at Heritage Pointe, our new 55+ community that also has access to all the amenities of the Twin Oaks community. Mary Ann just celebrated her 90th birthday this January and is now a resident in the home where it all began – Twin Oaks Estate. You will still even see her greeting and assisting other residents. She is even known to bake her famous homemade bread. The Twin Oaks Senior Living family wants you to be at home. Home is where you are loved, cared for, share friendships, have fun, and maintain independence. Mary Ann’s vision has certainly come to life over the last 43 years and our Twin Oaks communities are more vibrant than ever.
