About TWINNEEDLE
TwinNeedle was founded in 2008 with a small specialist team concentrating on repairing and customising outdoor gear. After years of fixing people’s problems, we decided to make our own gear. With knowledge of what works and what doesn’t, we have developed our own line of world class outdoor products. Every piece of gear we produce is field tested by New Zealand's leading guides, hunters, military and police personnel in the environments they are designed for. From our Christchurch manufacturing base, we focus on combining specialist R&D with the best materials currently available and our skilled machinists to produce the most reliable and user-friendly equipment in the world. TwinNeedle is currently one of the main suppliers to the New Zealand Defence Force of the current in-service standard issue assault vests, belts, and pouches in Multicam. We also partner with leading international brands Wildthings, UF Pro and Blue Force Gear in the provision of clothing and equipment to military and tactical professionals. We started in repairing, fitting, and customising gear and it’s still at the core of our business. Each year we repair thousands of items of outdoor clothing and equipment reducing waste that would otherwise end up in landfill, and saving our customers money.
