About Twist Partnership

The Twist Partnership is a unique social enterprise that promotes good leadership through good learning. Operating out of Shoreditch in Central London, it is a not-for-profit company established in March 2004 to bring more imaginative learning to the field of personal, professional and organisational development. We are currently building on our past success in schools, working with young people, their families and teachers. Twist transforms young people as individuals and as members of a groups through challenge and engagement. We don’t teach or train – we inspire people to activate and develop their leadership potential. We work to a vision, not a shelf of products. Our ideas emerge from creative conversations with our clients leading to tailor-made services such as workshops, development programmes and consultancy. All our projects have certain things in common. They’re always thought-provoking, often surprising and counter-intuitive. They usually involve getting young people out of familiar territory to deal with real issues well beyond their day-to-day experience. And we invariably challenge them to come to their own conclusions and recognise their own capability to bring about change. By lighting sparks in individuals, we can revitalize activities in schools and enable them to achieve their strategic goals. We work with community secondary schools and local primary schools across the country. We believe that, given the right learning environments, people of all ages and abilities can be energised into fulfilling their potential. We empower them by raising their aspirations and changing their perceptions, inspiring them to take a real leadership role in changing the environment in which they work or live.
