U-Linc is a technology company spun out from the UK's 5G Innovation Centre. The company was formed to facilitate a newly developed IoT Discovery & Interaction technology and to incorporate other innovative solutions in the IoT space. While there has been an exponential growth of IoT solutions and devices, the ability of the end user to interact with all the connected products and environment remains a siloed practice, requiring an ever increasing number of apps and resulting in a fragmented user experience. U-Linc’s pioneering technology provides a universal solution that can interact with any connectable device, facilitating a level of interoperability that has not been achieved before. The technology is a discovery and interaction protocol that provides simple, seamless and secure connectivity with different IoT devices without vendors needing to develop and people needing to download ever growing list of applications to control and interact with such devices.
