About U.S.VETS Long Beach
U.S.VETS is the leading nonprofit committed to preventing and ending veteran homelessness. Since 1999, U.S.VETS Long Beach, located at Century Villages at Cabrillo, has been dedicated to helping veterans and their families successfully transition from homelessness by providing transitional and permanent housing, mental health and wellness programs, career development and job placement services, case management and individualized support. U.S.VETS Long Beach also offers the ADVANCE Women’s Program, a transitional housing service focused on addressing the unique needs of women who were exposed to sexual trauma during their military service and may be experiencing problems with substance use. In partnership with the VA, ADVANCE provides a safe and sober living environment where women with children can receive treatment for sexual trauma, substance misuse, work re-entry counseling and assistance in receiving disability payments.
