About UBC Environmental Policy Association
The UBC Environmental Policy Association (EPA) is a student-led organization at UBC that aims to promote awareness, education, and advocacy for environmental policy and contemporary social and environmental issues. Our mission is to increase awareness surrounding environmental policies and their ramifications on our world. By providing students with the opportunity to learn about environmental public policy in a casual, pressure-free environment, we are able to effectively inform others of the critical decisions made by governments, businesses, and NGOs every single day. We welcome anyone who has an interest or passion about the environment, and anyone who wants to learn more about the policies that concern it. We aim to accomplish our mission through our various events for students, which includes discussion panels, social events, and our annual networking event, Sustainability Careers Night. We are currently also committed to developing new events and initiatives to deepen our impact on the UBC community. Feel free to contact us at info.ubc.epa@gmail.com if you have any questions, comments, or concerns!
