The newly-formed Internal Insights & Innovation (I3) unit provides custom software and web products in support of improving UConn's business processes, academic operations, and research enterprise. First and foremost, we're a learning accelerator. I3 is proud to employ a dynamic team of high-performing student designers, developers, and illustrators. Our students gain real-world experience while working in a highly sought-after student job, writing code, designing user interfaces, and managing projects that get thousands of monthly active uses. We partner with UConn administration and departments to enhance their systems through tailored digital solutions. Whether developing custom tools or optimizing existing resources, our goal is to provide digital services that simplify and improve the experience for UConn faculty, staff, and students. I3 also operates a Digital Services Core (the Digital Experience Group), providing the UConn Research Community with access to app development, web design, UI/UX design, and other innovative technology services, helping researchers bring their grant funded projects to life with cutting-edge digital solutions.
