About UECC

UECC's main business activity is the Short Sea Transportation of factory new cars and light commercial vehicles for all the main automotive manufacturers. We also offer transportation of various types of rolling & static cargo and support our shipping activity through a number of port-related terminals across Europe. UECC’s broad network, stretching from the Baltic Sea to the Black Sea, provides connections from all major hub ports to match the distribution needs of European-based production, as well as providing feeder services to connect with inter-continental traffic. To safely carry 1.7 million units per annum, we operate a modern fleet of Pure Car and Truck Carriers (PCTCs). At the heart of our business is the UECC team. UECC - The leading provider of short sea roro transportation in Europe. --- In 2016, we took delivery of two of the most technically advanced PCTCs ever built. They are the largest ecologically sustainable PCTCs as well as the biggest ever 1A super Finnish/Swedish ice classed PCTCs in the world. The vessels are capable of operating with LNG fuel or heavy fuel oil as well as marine gas oil, providing greater flexibility and efficiency. They are fitted with an LNG fuel propulsion system and can complete a fourteen-day round voyage in the Baltics using solely LNG fuel, including main engine and auxiliary power generation. These vessels provide larger capacity, better operational flexibility, reduced fuel consumption and emissions, more efficient operations, and are enhancing the service to our customers.
