About UGA Noteworthy A Cappella

Founded in 1988 in Athens, GA, Noteworthy is still UGA's only all-treble a cappella ensemble. Each member is passionate about achieving vocal excellence and producing riveting performances, and dedicated towards ensuring the group remains unified and student-led. Throughout the years, Noteworthy has jumped to the top of collegiate charts with multiple selections in BOCA (Best of Collegiate a Cappella) and nominations for the CARA awards. In 2013, Noteworthy received two awards in the regional quarterfinals of Varsity Vocals' International Championship of Collegiate a Cappella: Best Vocal Percussionist and Third Place Ensemble. In 2017, Noteworthy received 2nd place in the regional quarterfinals of Varsity Vocals' International Championship of Collegiate a Cappella and moved on to the semifinals. Currently, Noteworthy continues to perform at various events around campus and the greater Athens community, spreading their love for music to all they can!
