If you are the Responsible Person for a multi-occupancy building greater than 11 metres high, you are required by law to carry out quarterly checks for all Fire Doors in communal areas. You are also responsible for carrying out annual checks on all flat entrance doors, providing the necessary information to residents on the critical role of Fire Doors in the compartmentalisation of a fire.
