The UKMB was incorporated on 11th February 2022, and its owners had the vision of developing and implementing a totally independent UK Conformity Assessment Body (CAB). We are a completely independent, UK Approved Body that exists to provide you with a fast, professional, and reliable service that covers the requirements of your business’s UKCA certification in England, Scotland, and Wales. We will guide you through the process from start to finish and issue your certificate quickly. The standard of service you will receive from us is drawn from our detailed application process, which ensures we understand your business's needs. We are currently offering the following marketplace certification services: NAWI (Non-Automatic Weighing Instrument Regulations 2016) Module D Module D1 MIR (Measuring Instruments Regulations 2016) Module A2. Module D Module D1 Module E1 Weights and Measures Act Section 11A We cover new applications for certification and transfer of your accredited certificates. The UK Metrology Board is led by the managing director, Paul Moody. Paul was previously the Managing Director of an Industrial Weighing Company. His combined experience means he is well-placed to advise you on achieving the correct certification, simplifying the process and balancing this with the challenges of running a business. Our team of technical advisors and auditors is made up of the most experienced people in the industry, guaranteeing you professionalism at all times and a quick certification service tailored to your specific requirements UKMB is supported by an advisory board (scheme committee) to safeguard impartiality.
