About Łukasiewicz – PIAP
Łukasiewicz – PIAP Institute is focused on the new industrial technologies implementation, systems for automation, production plant and measuring equipment in various branches of industry. Over fifty years of cooperation with industry have brought a series of new designs and significant implementations. R&D for companies, 8. rapid prototyping (see http://design.piap.pl/). PIAP is also the first and biggest producer of high quality mobile robots for counter-terrorism applications in Poland. PIAP Institute's vast experience and wide network of partners allow to create and implement complex system solutions in the security area. PIAP Institute delivers its solutions in robotics to army, police, fire brigades, other forces responsible for public security, crisis management and civil protection. Our robots are present in 20 countries in 4 continents. Łukasiewicz - PIAP Institute has recently set up a PIAP Space Ltd. (http://www.piap-space.com/) - a spin off company in space sector delivering solutions for space robotics and MGSE. PIAP has implemented an international quality standards - ISO 9001:2009, AQAP 2110:2009 and national Export Control System.
