About Ukraine Matters

UKRAINE MATTERS is a Berkeley-based (CA, USA) 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization set up under the Nonprofit Public Benefit Corporation Law for charitable purposes (EIN 93-3368432). It focuses on (1) fighting the ruscist propaganda, debunking the myths about Ukraine, and raising awareness about it in the US and throughout the world, (2) providing psychological assistance to the members of the Fallen Heroes families through professional psychotherapy (support groups, individual therapy sessions, webinars), and different kinds of art therapy (phototherapy, pottery classes, drawing classes, etc.), (3) providing medical rehabilitation to Ukrainian veterans, and medical assistance to the members of the Fallen Heroes families (dentistry, ophthalmology, gynecology, neurology, screenings, etc.), and (4) providing nonformal education to the IDPs, Ukrainian veterans, and members of the Fallen Heroes families. All donations are tax-deductible. The nonprofit has no overhead expenses and works directly with reliable partners on the ground in Ukraine.
