About Ukrainian Social Club
Ukrainian Social Club in Twickenham, London, was created in April 2022 to support Ukrainians who were fleeing the war and arriving in West London. Our first and foremost purpose is to help people settle in, integrate into the local society and gain access to benefits, jobs, education etc. Our mission is to provide a safe space for Ukrainians to get together, mitigate loneliness and improve mental health and well-being. Today our Club is home to more than 1000 Ukrainian families. We also actively promote Ukrainian culture and art, making it an important part of many local festivals and community celebrations. We are proud winners of the 2022 Richmond Council Heroes of the Community Award in the “Special Leaders” category.
